"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free," (Galatians 5:1, NIV.)
Becky Rogers had a 30-year career working in senior leadership roles in Human Resource Management. During that time, she met with thousands of employees. The one thing each employee had in common was PAIN.
Employees go to the Human Resource department for many reasons. Some seek guidance about coverages on health insurance after receiving a serious medical diagnosis; others need to update their beneficiary information due to a divorce; others, to file a death claim for the loss of a family member. Some employees struggle to manage attendance as they care for a sick family member. Many people associate Human Resources with hiring and firing. There is some truth to that, but often terminations occur because of poor performance or a failed drug test. Even still, once you drill down to the root cause, the use of drugs and/or alcohol may have been their way to numb the pain to make it through another day.
For organizations to thrive, they must have good people. And all people, regardless of their “goodness” have problems. That is life.
After retiring from Corporate America, Rogers began consulting and teaching labor and employment courses at the university. As her HR consulting practice grew, most of her executive coaching sessions revolved around challenges with people.
Although Rogers consults companies on HR best practices, her niche is coaching. Rogers is a certified mental health coach and a presidential member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Christian Coaching Association. She provides a safe, confidential environment for clients to share their struggles and concerns. The good news…. clients find answers and freedom. HOPE has a name…. JESUS. Rogers offers biblically based coaching to help you find the freedom and abundant life that Jesus said is possible.
John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (ESV)
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are tired and weary, and I will give you rest” (KJV, Matthew 11:28).
